The Symposium will discuss, among other subjects, contemporary psychoanalytic perspective on gender issues as well as clinical situations where intensive contact between participants of the therapeutic process leads to loss and retrieval rediscovery of the meaning of the unconscious communication.

SYMPOSIUM SPEAKERS

 

David Bell – psychoanalyst, psychiatrist, consultant at the Tavistock Clinic in London, former president of the British Psychoanalytic Society

Hansjörg Messner – chair of the Adult Section and member of the Board of Directors of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. Member of the British Psychoanalytic Foundation and the British Psychoanalytic Council

Maciej Musiał – psychoanalyst in private practice, training psychoanalyst of the Polish Psychoanalytic Society. PPS representative in the Polish Psychotherapy Council. Member, founder and former president (2003-2007) of the Polish Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Association. PTPP and  training psychotherapist and supervisor. Consultant of the Psychoanalytic Consultation Unit in Sopot. Coordinator of the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy training “Trójmiasto” affiliated by the PTPP.

Beate Schumacher psychoanalyst of adults, children and adolescents. Member of the British Psychoanalytic Society. She works in private practice as well as in the Cassel Hospital in London. She is a training analyst and supervisor in Great Britain and abroad.

Agnieszka Topolewska – supervisor and training psychotherapist of the ISPHS and PTPP. Delegate of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. Coordinator of the ISPHS training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Head editor of the ISPHS publishing house.
